I think only ford used solid push rods (independent of oiling issue) ( disaster in 54 Y block , soft steel , they bent ( save some $) .Recall was 100x as much All Chrysler are hollow , push in tips? anyone know to contrary ??weight matters On this the best engine builder i know aways uses tips with holes even on mopar when oiled at both ends always has He says 1) hurts nothing may help 2) avoids tip of ball making point contact in socket — i do notice some push rods high performance have a flat on top of ball . Ball diameters cannot be perfect touch to socket but close enough 3) chevy are the ones that wear through their cool rockers at 80 k even ymmv On Apr 4, 2025, at 12:50 PM, RICK AND DEBBIE CLAPHAM <rixpac@xxxxxxx> wrote: -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
