{Chrysler 300} 1962 300 Red Paint match

Does anyone have any experience or advice on matching the red on a 62 300? I had my Uncles all original (except the trunk lid) car at a good body guy to redo another trunk lid because his was redone twice and keeps rusting through from the inside out, all over it, and worse each time. The first attempt the color match was great in the light but if the car was outside in the daytime, and in the shade the match was very off. The guys are trying again to get it right, and I feel they are good at what they do and as particular as I am, but they are having a really hard time getting an exact match. I figured it was worth sending out a message to see if anyone had any advice.
