Re: {Chrysler 300} Heater Control alvecrebuild

On my 64 Chrysler I went a different route. I used an electronic version. I went from the cable into an electrical box that held a sensor.  That sensor went to the actual valve, in the engine bay. The nice thing is that my carpet is safe from failing valves, and it is easy to get at.

Not stock, but a step up.

Hi 300 Guy’s,

Below is a low cost source for NEW heater control valves.

Not worth rebuilding. Also, on a rebuilt they do not recharge the capillary tube that auto adjust and reduces water flow to your desired setting. You would need to adjust manually. This one on EBay.

Some time ago, I had a heater control valve rebuilt by someone referred to me by the club, but I have forgotten the identity of the rebuilder.  Can someone help me out here?
    Thanks,
    Pete Fitch
