I have the DB Auburn Premium radial 225/75R14 on my '57 New Yorker that I bought on the same Labor Day sale last year as Noel did (a deal too good to refuse). Not many miles on them yet but very pleased so far. The whitewalls have stayed snow white, unlike my experience with tires from Coker.
Another option, albeit non-stock, is to go with 15" wheels and tires on the C, allowing use of the 235/75R15 tires in Auburn Deluxe with pie crust, or Diamondback I radial (with whitewall vulcanized to modern radial). Some folks use the 15" reproduction (or original) Motor Wheel wire wheels on their Cs, which are very attractive even if not factory correct.
I have the Diamondback I tires on my G in 235/75R15, very pleased, excellent handling and ride quality, and again- whitewalls that actually stay white - imagine that!

Subject Fwd: Re: Re: {Chrysler 300} Tires for 300 C
As Kurt mentions, there are two styles of Diamondback radials for our Letter Cars, made in the USA. Looking at the online website - www.dbtires.com - Each of these two styles appears to offer the same sizes -
- 225/75R14 for 14" wheels - as on our C, D, E, F, K, L
- I purchased the Diamondback Premium Radials for my F
- Diamondback Auburn Deluxe Radials are not shown for our 14" size.
- 235/75R15 for 15" wheels - as on our '55, B, G, H, J, Hurst 300
- Kurt purchased the Diamondback Auburn Deluxe Radials for his H that feature the 'Pie Crust' edge.
My further comments -
- I just called and spoke with Diamondback's sales rep to clarify -
- Diamondback Auburn Deluxe 'Pie Crust' radials
- They only have some of these in stock for 235/75R15
- They do not, and will not in the forseeable future, have any 225/75R14 tires.
- Their stock of these Auburn Deluxe tires are primarily in smaller tire sizes, with a handful in the 235/75R15 size.
- Diamondback Premium radials
- They have some 225/75R14 tires in stock, as well as 235/75/R15
- They are scheduled to receive a fresh shipment, with fresh date coding of the 225/75R14 tires in 60 days.
- For both tire styles - Auburn Deluxe and Premium - they have no plans to build 235/75R14 sized tires. So the 225/75R14 tires are our best option.
- As we're moving into the new driving season, it's highly unlikely Diamondback will be offering sale pricing on their tires as they did at season-end Labor Day last year. He's not aware of any currently, but he deferred to their marketing department that announces these promotional events.
As discussed in some of our archived emails, there was discussion of yet another brand of tire - Kontio. These are designed in Finland and manufactured in China. Again, their largest offered 14" size is 225/75R14. These are fairly popular in Europe and also offered here in the U.S. Some of our members are running them on their Letter Cars and commented that they're pleased with them.
Hope this helps!
Noel

Here’s a nice profile of the DB Auburn Deluxe “Pie Crust” radial and on car. Very happy with the product.
