Thanks to the club members, Mr. Bob Merritt and Mr. Jeff Miklas, who supplied me with good information and advice. The shifter will be sent for rebuilding by the Shifter Doctor. Additionally the console handle will be re-chromed as that stick will be the main focus of this interior. One small step forward.
