As winter is fading away and we (most of us, anyway) turn our clocks an hour forward this weekend, driving season 2026 is fast approaching!
With 10 weeks and counting until our Asheville Meet Registration Deadline, there's no better time than now to fill out your Registration Form, include your check and mail it!
Our Meet Host Heath Towson has been enthusiastically working to create a wonderful Asheville experience for all of us! Asheville offers a wide array of history, of natural beauty and of an originating center of NASCAR. From exploring historic Biltmore on Thursday; to cruising the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway to the North Carolina Arboretum Friday morning, and that afternoon either tour St. Lawrence Basilica and downtown Asheville - or - cruise with me south to Shelby NC to Phil Combs hosting us at his [free] Combs Family Museum [of all things NASCAR]; and display your Letter Car or your other classic Mopar to Saturday's Car Show on Historic Coxe Avenue that's the site of Asheville's iconic Motor Row. Heath has arranged to have the City of Asheville close the street to car traffic, enticed the local merchants to sponsor our Show and invited other local classic cars to join us!
