Many years ago I had my 300H wheel restored by Quality Restorations, Dennis Crooks. They removed all the original plastic, rechromed the rim, recast the two different plastics, polished, and returned it. Turned out beautiful. Other quotes I received were to cast the whole wheel in clear, then painted the gold section, and were less money. I didn't want to worry about the paint getting worn or chipping, so I went with Quality Restorations in California. We'll worth the extra money.
