{Chrysler 300} LeMay - America’s Car Museum

ABC TV this evening at 7:00 CDT aired their program ’Disney Celebrates America - The Pursuit of Happiness’ with the lead segment being the LeMay Museum’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of Route 66 by running its entire length from the Santa Monica Pier to here in Chicago. 

This 300-F from the Museum was featured in this segment. I drove down to meet this caravan on January 12 in Pontiac, IL to check it out and visit with its participants - especially with Bill Hall of Elkhart Lake, WI, who had also helped us coordinate our fall 2016 Meet in Elkhart Lake and the Road America track there. Bill has been involved with the Museum’s annual cross country trek from the West Coast to Detroit Auto Show. 

Though this F displays a few modifications, including running 15” tires and hubcaps, it looked good in person and it looked great on tonight‘s TV segment.
