Pete-

Non-ram K engines should have the HP stamp.  Ram K engines do not, they have a C300K stamp.  See this on our club web site for more info:

Subject {Chrysler 300} Engine standings ‘64. 413s

Question - I am aware of the usual “V41” stamping on our 413s.  I have a couple for sale and a potential buyer has said he wants an “HP” motor which makes me think he expects that as part of the stamping.  I have never seen  that stamping, which is why I am asking all of you whether it was done and, if so, what would that distinguish such motors from standard K motors.  I have no ideas here, if someone can help me out.  I DO know that HP usually stands for high performance, but why would the stampings vary, unless it was for the ram motors, in which case I would like that confirmed.
