RE: {Chrysler 300} the yellow canary

A Mopar movie if there ever was one: a black-and-white movie made in 1958 entitled Cry Terror starring Rod Steiger and Inger Stevens. Inger Stevens drives a white 1957 Chrysler New Yorker. All the cars are Mopars, even the cars parked on the street as she drives by.

Then there is Blade Runner, a futuristic sci-fi movie with all kinds of wild, futuristic custom cars. All but one….a box-stock 1957 Chrysler Imperial, and it fits right in.

Something like The World, The Flesh, and The Devil

Turns into 2 guys fighting over 1 woman.  Don't know why they don't fight over the 300C.

Keith, I think Mad, mad, mad, mad world is probably the best Mopar car movie.  So many cars, trucks, jeeps all Mopar except the Jeep, although that did become a Mopar later.

Of course, the Grandaddy of a Mopar Movie Fest is “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”. Everything from Plymouth Savoys to an Imperial convertible (driven by Milton Berle, who’s married to a domineering Ethel Merman.)

The Movie Channel recently ran 1961's "Bachelor in Paradise".  It stars Bob Hope and Lana Turner.  Full of fun Mopars, starring a '61 300G, '61 Imperial, '61 Plymouth convert, '61 Dodge and others.  Funny movie, Bob Hope makes laugh.

I watched a movie last night titled The Yellow Canary, a black-and-white movie made in 1963 starring Pat Boone and Barbara Eden. In this movie, Andrew Paxton (Pat Boone) drives a black (?) 1963 Chrysler 300 convertible.
