I'll throw this out to those in the know- Were there correct number carbs built and shipped on K's with both styles of choke pull offs? And food for thought- My K's run from early in the model year to very late. It seems to be a power seat control holder of some sort. I thought it might go on my 300C power seat on the drivers side, but looking at some pictures of 57C's in books, it looks like the power seat switch mounts on some large black cover that wraps around the bottom of the power seat. This chrome bezel piece is almost a foot long, about 2 1/2 inches high, and curves at what I believe to be the front to match up with the front seat. Anyway, does anyone know what this really is, and if I indeed must keep searching for the correct piece to go on my power seat to hold my switch? John I can send a picture of it if that would help, I just didn't want to flood the list with it. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Sat, 24 Jan 2004 16:38:22 -0700 From: <john_nowosacki@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: 1842633 again Looking a little further (1958 D), I saw a picture of the passenger side bezel on page 44 of John Gunnell's book, for a 58D. The piece I have is the drivers side mate with a hole for the power seat switch. Any 58 owners have the correct piece for my 57 and in desperate need for my 58 piece? Or do I just use the 58 piece on my 57 and only club members will know the difference?
