The size was very close and I had to do minimal trimming to get them in. The appearance is different from original - the bead rolling is at different angles. There's a correct A/C style wide fin 40 amp alternator (part) on eBay. Easily distinguishable from the other more common non A/C alternators. Knowing what the two look like and knowing what you need helps eliminate the wrong one.
