It's what we have found works best for the vast majority of our members that are hooked up to it - 375 at last count. Every time you address an e-mail to the listserver and hit the "send" button, it automatically goes out to 375 others. Most just want to read technical information, restoration techniques, parts and cars for sale or wanted, show information and don't want the "clutter" . It apparently was within a gnats whisker of seizing and any extended trip at highway speeds would surely have caused a problem. (Maybe pure luck or "providence" that I didn't attempt the Kentucky meet after all). Looking for "spring" now. Thanks for all the hints and tips from those who replied. If Gil isn't answering his phone, it's because he's not around. There's nothing anyone else in the group can do about it. Brian, it's you who's gonna get locked up in a cage ... no knots for you, just padlocks, and we'll throw away the key. Seriously, guys, NO CHIT-CHAT, jokes or funny replies on the listserver. Do it one-on-one, please. I don't know if anyone in the club would be interested in a car like this that is still a bit of a project, but it has a lot going for it. It is 99.9% complete including all "F" stuff, and has an awfully lot of work already done to it. It was originally a white/tan car and is now black with red leather interior. It still needs some body/paint and assembly but will make a very good car when done. If anyone is interested in talking about this car, please drop me a line. The price will be reasonable.
