John,
The front seats come out by removing the large swivel bolt as you
assumed.
There are two rollers on the front that engage the swivel track. There may
also be a spring that swings the seat out, just disconnect it when you
lift
the seat. Some cars that have been worked on before may not have the
spring.

      Don

Subject: Need Purolator PCV Numbers

Hi, everybody. Can anyone give me the old two-digit Purolator PCV number
that is correct for 1961 to 1969 Chrysler? I have a chance to pick up some
Purolator #67 and #69 PCV valves. They are both the correct style and
shape as on our Chryslers. But, of course, I have no idea which # is
right, if either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, much. John

Hey guys!

The fan clutch assembly on my H has decided to go to that great junkyard
in
the sky. So I need a new one. The correct part number for an A/C car is
2421131. Anyone have any leads on where to get an original assembly, even
if
it needs to be rebuilt? Anyone know of any rebuilders?

Mike Meyer

There is an ad that has been running in the Club News for a year or so
that
is a direct result of me having mine rebuilt a few years ago. He
advertised
in some magazine about doing Corvettes and I took a chance on a Mopar. It

was not cheap but it was very effective.

Hi Mike: Try NAPA, give them the Chrysler #. They may have a cross
reference. Then check the dimensions, especially the height when
you stand it on the end that fits against the water pump pulley.
You may have to get a 'non-thermal' fan clutch if you don't have
enough space for a thermal fan clutch.
Fred Oliva in Coral Springs, FL rebuilds fan clutches to specs.
Ph. 954/755-1161. Not cheap, $139.00(?).
Good luck,

Members....
I want to offer this to fellow members first. I have a complete (except
for carbs & air cleaners) 1957 Chrysler 300C engine forsale. It is an A1
block with engine number 3NE57-2551. It has just come back from the
machine shop and is currently disassembled. It was hot tanked,
magnafluxed, bored and each component individually balanced and numbered.
It is +.030 in the bore and standard on the mains and rods. The rods have
new bushings and it has new KB hypereutectic 10:1 pistons with new rings.
It includes a newly reground Isky cam, grind #D888 (correct for the 300C).
Included are the adjustable rocker arms, solid lifters, pushrods and
dimpled Chrysler Fire-Power valve covers and spark plug covers. It
includes the 2x4 intake manifold and dual point distributor. It is ready
to assemble. Price FOB Twin Falls, Idaho is $4000. Possible trades. I can
help arrange shipping or will deliver within 350 mile radius. Contact
George McKovich by email or call 1-888-523-0733 between 9am and 9pm
Mountain time.

Hi Guys,

If you need a place to store or work on your car this might be of
interest to you. A friend of mine has an interesting concept for the
auto enthusiast. I made a copy of his flier in three sections. Go to

www.garlic.com/~chuxter

and look a DL1,2 and 3 for more info.

Chuck
