Would like to have regular wheels with proper wheelcovers. I don't know how scarce such items are. Anyone out there with a usable set or advice? Sure would appreciate any kind of information. I need to remove the DRIVE HUB portion of the clutch, which is done with a puller according to the service manual. Does anyone know what type of puller I need to use? I have a steering wheel puller, will that work? I guess it's the hub & shoe assembly that I need to pull off before pressing out the bearing. Does anyone know where I can get these? I don't see them in G. The brake booster is located above the driver side front tire. Yesterday morning when I got in to go to work I noticed that the pedal now goes all the way to the floor. The brakes do work, but just barely. There is fluid, and pumping the brakes has absolutely no effect. Vacuum is at around 18 at idle. The only previous indication that something was wrong was that sometimes when the pedal was depressed there would be a groaning noise and a rapid vibration in the pedal that would go away if you stabbed the pedal, but would continue if you didn't. This happened twice within the last couple of weeks and the brakes always worked great until yesterday. This car is my daily driver and only mode of transportation for work or otherwise. I need to drive to work today, then I have the next 3 days off to figure out the problem and fix it. Any help pointing me in the right direction to start will be greatly appreciated. I don't know a thing about that system, but perhaps others on the list will, and you might also want to try to give Don Cole a call ( he's the 64 model year consultant and knows ram K's . ) Get his number from the roster or the front pages of any Club News issue. I acquired a pair of Headlamp doors for a 62 Chrysler from a bodyman who has has them hanging on his wall for 30 years. After I got the dust off they were in amazingly good condition. chrome is excellent except for minor scratches on one housing. I would like to offer them up to a club member before listing on e-bay. I am told they are similar to 61 except for the mesh color. If you are interested e-mail me privately and let me know what they are worth to you.
