I replaced the composition floats with metal ones and have not had a problem since. Not having much luck with my "usual" sources. It is a 7/8" dia gray 21 tooth, although a green 20 tooth will get me by. I can pretty much figure out how fast I'm traveling by the tach, but figuring when to refuel can get a bit tricky. I'm in need of a left and right lower ball joint for a '65 300. I live in Vancouver, B.C. and the local parts suppliers claim they are unavailable from MOOG which seems to be the major aftermarket manufacturer. Anyone have any to spare or know of a source that can help me? Next question is regarding shocks. I'm replacing the hydraulic shocks with gas for obvious reasons but I would like to know what brand of shocks were originally used on a '65 300? I ask what brand so I can figure out what color I should paint the new shocks. Anyone know? Not sure if I asked the group this question before. Anyone know of a source for the black vinyl roof for a '65 300? Any grains available that are even close? Looks like I might just have to paint the top body color for now if nothing is available. Thankyou, Ryan Hill _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 5 Date: Tue, 09 Apr 2002 16:49:50 -0500 From: Ray Jones <hurst300@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Chrysler 300 H mag article Hi All; While searching for some other stuff, I came across a goodie: Popular Hot Rodding issue #1 1962 which features Andy Granatelli's 1962 H "World's Fastest Passenger Car". The H is equipped with 2 Paxton Superchargers! Nice 4 page article. Any H owners like to have this? How about we re-create the Granatelli F while we're at it! They wouldn't have to be real, but they sure would look great on display at major shows around the country.
