Yes, John, that's exactly the point of the "diesel" oil. Cars that are not driven long and hard are more likely to get condensation in the crankcase, whether it be from running for short periods or just changing ambient temps while in storage. This condensation coupled with the corrosive agents in modern fuel, etc., worsens the problem. I use Shell Rotella 15W-40 in my Cummins diesel pickup. It's rated CG for diesels and SJ for gas engines. This oil is generally not any more expensive than a major brand SJ gas-engine-only oil. Just fuel for thought, Andy __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Also would like to find a speedometer head or complete unit. Another thing the car is missing is the roller that runs on the spring loaded notched plate that holds the door open in two positions. Picked up an odd item I thought someone out there might be able to use. There are 4 templates to locate the location to drill the hole when installing an antenna on the right front fender. These are for the 1957, 1958 and 1959 Chrysler as well as the Dodge, DeSoto and Plymouth. Apparently certain Dodge and Plymouth models set the mirror in different locations depending upon whether it is a "Remote" style mirror or not. Also includes a 1 page "MoPar" diagram showing the assembly instructions for the antenna itself. If someone can use this for their project or just wants it for the information to add with their literature and shop manuals/parts books, please email me privately. My cost of $12 plus $1 for postage please. First one to respond gets them. Thank you, Brian Frank [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 4 Date: Mon, 15 Jul 2002 07:47:40 -0500 From: "Wayne Graefen" <wgraefen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: C300 Accolade More accolades for our letter cars.
