Price seems very good for a custom fit 600 or 800 pile cut at $155. Suggestions for an alternate source would also be appreciated. Ask for Cliff. I purchased replacement carpet for my G end of last year from them and was very pleased. They have the exact templates inclusive of the console pieces. I paid more than you indicate below ($296) but opted for the thicker carpet (701 Black Supreme) to closely match the original material. Believe their standard carpet (Black 301) price was $179. I redid the brakes on my 62 Newport (shoes and cylinders), but as you can guess, the adjusting cams on the rear wheels are shot. As a result, I can't adjust the brakes and the pedal throw is longer than it should be. I put 64 brakes on the front, so no problem there, but I need to find the 'wheel cylinder support plates' for rear brakes for a 62 Newport. I don't know if NYer works, or only Newport. Any leads on aquiring a pair of these would be most appreciated. Yes, it's self explanatory on how it installs, though I didn't get very far. Yes, it matches the center link I just pulled off the car, but I didn't get very far. Why? The studs mount up into the pitman arm & idler arm, then you torque the nut to 45 pounds. I wasn't near that torque and the stud began spinning in the socket, thus I was unable to torque it down, or tighten it for that matter. I don't understand how the base of the stud fits into the pitman or idler arm holes, though I know the old links studs did. Any suggestions? Thanks, Matt [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
