Steve,

I never herd of Legendary Interiors ? Do you have a E-mail address for
them or a phone number where I could contact them regarding products? I
started working on my "L" with another "L" that might be on the way to me
soon, both cars need the same thing headliner, Carpet & maybe recovering
for the seats. Both cars have red interiors.

Looking forward hearing from you soon!

Wes

The switch is located on the left side (outside) of the pushbutton housing
under the dash. It's not possible to get the switch off with the unit in
the
dash. You should make sure the harness is plugged into the switch, and
that
connecting the wires together lights the back up lights before condemning
the switch. The one on my G was just un-plugged.
300ly,
    Don

I have original leather seat covers which are in pretty good condition, so
I'm going to keep them. I am, however, also ordering new seat foam for the
front buckets from Legendary.

It is interesting that you say that Goers requires you to provide the
original heel pads. The 300L heel pads are quite unusual (and on both
sides
too) and I am concerned whether the Legendary heel pads will be a good
match. Perhaps the solution would be to send them my original heel pads.
Anybody who has purchased Legendary carpets for their L - what was your
experience?

The car has been stripped now and it turns out that in fact the seam is
lead
filled. The body man on the job says it is original factory fill. He was
very excited about the car since he tells me it is all original rust-free
sheet metal and completely accident free too. Meanwhile, when I bought the
car I thought it was a good car but I thought it was too bad about the
fill
in the rockers which would need fixing. I must say it is really a pleasant
surprise to find out the car you bought is better than you thought -
usually
it's the other way around!

I have purchased headliners, seat upholstery etc. from Legendary for
Mopars
other than 300 models as well as My K and am VERY pleased with the fit,
look
etc. My experience is you can't beat them. Joe Pierce 300K x2 plus too

Subject: 300C vapour lock?

Hi.
This summer we have had the hotest summer ever here in Norway, several
days with temperatures over 82F. Driving my 300C in this temperature, the
engine stalls when idling, like stopping at traffic lights etc. After a
minor stop or driving at a slow section on the road, the car hesitates
when accelerating. It seems like a fuelpump failure, but only when hot. At
startup cold, and at continuous high speed driving the car acts normal.
When the car stops, it give me a hard time trying to make it run. I have
never had this kind of trouble before, and I have also driven the car at
high temperatures before too. Can a fuelpump start to fail when hot? Or is
the heat making a vapour lock at the pump. The pump is 12 years old, could
this be the first sign of wear?.
I'm planning to install an electric fuelpump to assist the original, and
to help filling up the carbs after the winter rest.
What brand and type should I buy? Anyone with experience on this?

Thanks.

Oddvin Skråmestø
Norway.
