Don't know the brand, but it's a style of muffler. Sorta stock looking, but it's a glasspack type. The sound is perfect for the car, with a deep throaty roar up to about 82 mph. It then outruns the deep low note and gets very quiet. So, if I'm kinda dozing, I know when Jo Ann's heavy foot has gotten too heavy! 300 l'y, Ray Jones > Hello everyone, > > Can Hurst owners who have replaced their mufflers recommend a part number or brand(NAPA, Walker, etc.) that fits OK and has the "right" sound.(You know ...that "musclecar sound.".. throaty and muscular!!) Could someone go out and lift their hood and tell me how it is installed. Is it centered on the cross rail? Is it stapled near one edge so it has a loose edge facing towards the front or rear of the engine compartment? Thanks, Zak [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
