I am looking for info on the correct body to frame mount placement for the 300C coupe..... Specifically, which ones get the through the frame metal piece, which ones get the flat metal piece and if any get neither. I should have taken pictures when I took it apart. I thought they would show this in an exploded view in the parts manual, but they don't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks George [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Mon, 16 Jun 2003 12:41:22 +1200 From: "Owen & Jo Grigg" <ram300@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Body mounts Hi George Haven't got my C frame here at present it's up at the body shop, so going solely from memory....... Front two mounts were bolt and small dia washer with shim, no rubber. Next three with "outriggers' from the frame, get the "through the frame metal piece" and body mount rubber with locating flange on one side. Inboard mount and rear mount uses washer and special nut/stud. There is a show and shine in this city , Prince George, on Fathers Day. We paid our ten bucks and put the car in the show . About 1:00 p.m. a couple comes by and asked , " Has anyone talked to you about a trophy ?" I said, "No, but if you come by our place of business next week, yes beacuse 22,000 people have attended I'd be interetsted in sponsoring a trophy ." They said "I'm sorry, you misunderstand, we'ld like to award you a trophy, would you like it?" I said , "Sure ". There were 812 enteries, we won for the Best Restoration "Stock" . One man standing at the podium said , "Do peoople realize what these 300 cars are all about? Of course you should win!" .. that said it all .again thanks for the help.
