Hello Again,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank all those who helps us with our
damper problem. I sent it off to The Damper Doctor, figuring that would be
the safe thing to do.
Thanks Again, Jim

Fuel pump rebuild kits may be available from Then & Now Automotive in
Weymouth, MA. They advertise in hobby publications. I have experience
with them and I can recommend them. Their particulars are: Phone 781
335 8860 Fax 781 335 1925 email: our1932@xxxxxxx Web:
www.then-now.com

They seem to be knowledgeable so may be able to answer questions about
proper pump for 300s.

Hello everybody
greetings from Italy.
I need to purchase a set of new repro quarter panels from Metalcraft. What
about the procedure for ordering them, are they avaible through the Club,
or must be purchased direct from them?
Price? Quality ? Anybody has already got them?
Thank you for the help.
Antonello

Subject: Tach cable 300H

Hi, group,
Is there a difference between tach cables for a 300G and 300H ?? On the
way
to Chryslers at Carlisle, my cable went bad. Looks like it unraveled at
the
distributor. The tach was rebuilt, and works like new, and the cable was
lubed but I guess it didn't like highway speeds. It was an NOS cable
purchased a few years ago and just recently installed on the car. There
is
a cable posted on eBay for a 300G, just wondering if they are the same.
Oh, and by the way, this was the first judged show I took my H to, and I
brought home second place in the letter car class !

Thanks,
Mark Souders

Subject: Trunk Lid Letter

Two years ago, I sent my NOS Trunk Lid "H" to Bruce Hertzberg to be
recast.

I have being trying to get in touch with him to get it back without
results.

I am certain he probably just forgot to return it.

The "H" is more than just a part to me. It has much significant
sentimental value.

A dear friend gave it to my husband to give to me as an anniversary
present.

He has since died. The "H" is my first part of the letter car I will
own someday,

and a promise that I will own the rest of the car.

I sent it to Bruce with great reluctance because it means so much to me.

But the club has helped us so many times,

I wanted to help the club by having it cast so that others who needed
that letter would be able to get them.

If you know Bruce, please remind him that he hasn't returned my letter
and to call me, or just sent it.

I have a 300k and I am looking for the correct part numbers for three
pieces of chrome. The first one is the piece that goes down the center of
the hood, and the other two are the left and right chrome on the rear of
the car. Each piece is about 4 ft long. If anyone has these 3 pieces I
would be interested in purchasing them. Please email me personally.
mlit1964@xxxxxxxxxx Thanks for all of your help Mike 300K

Does the auto have a torqueflight and if so what is the rear end ratio? I
am looking for a 3.08 rear ratio. Is car 2 door or 4 door?

Hi Mark:
The parts books show the tach cable SHAFT, PN 2096 976 to be the same for
the
300F,G, and H. The CABLE, which I assume is the assembly, has a new part
number, 2426 286, for the 300H. I don't know what the difference is, but
the
inside part that you need should be the same. Hope this helps. 300ly,
Gil
