The engine ran okay but the tachometer began bouncing. After a short period it stopped working, so now I'm guessing that the mechanical drive portion of the dist needs to be rebuilt, if that's possible. If it is, does anyone have suggestions as to who might do this type of repairs? Thanks Neal ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 2 Date: Sun, 19 Oct 2003 17:31:49 -0600 From: "George McKovich" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Rubber Renew Products A few weeks back, someone on the list was seeking a good rubber rejuvenator. I have now found an excellent one. While I was in Reno for Hot August Nights, I went to Gary Nelson's (fellow club member) to both meet him personally and also pickup my a/c clutch that he rebuilt for my 300C. He showed me a product that he had developed through some chemists that he knows and showed me the results on several pieces that had been soaked in in for a couple weeks. I was impressed and wondered if it would truly do that for some of my old rubber pieces that are going back on the C this winter. I purchased a bottle of it and have since tried it on several pieces and find that it works very well for me by diluting it and placing the pieces in a zip-lock back, then runing them every few days for a couple weeks. In fact, I just ordered another bottle of it from him this week for my 300H. If anyone is interested, his email is: garythepartsdoc@xxxxxxxxxxxx George 57 Chrysler 300C coupe http://www.chrysler300c.com 62 Chrysler 300H coupe 58 Dodge Sweptside pickup http://www.sweptsides.com 59 Dodge Sweptside pickups http://www.sweptsides.com/moresweptsides.htm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Sun, 19 Oct 2003 19:03:49 -0700 From: Gary Nelson <garythepartsdoc@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Rubber Renew Products Thanks George Where do I send the 55 gallon drum?
