Good afternoon, Sorry for the delay, thank you for each of the responses. First of all. I have only been dealing with molded hoses, no flex hoses. Here is what I have found (lower hgose only): NAPA # 745 is a "cut to fit" molded hose. It is not too bad, but I believe too close to the oil filter. CarQuest #20046 is identical cross to NAPA #745. NAPA # 7648 has one end that is way too small diameter and therefore won't go over fitting (I'm a wuss). I have ordered CarQuest #20548 (application is '77 New Yorker w/ 440). The picture looked nice, especially for an old hose. I will not be able to pick this up until Friday as I am heading back out. Thanks again for all of you help. Richard Osborne Briefly nice Columbus, OH >>> <cotejohnr@xxxxxxx> 03/24/04 12:29PM >>> Richard, I don't know positively if the distance between radiator and engine are the same on a 300G VS. a '61 Newport, (I think so because the extra 4 inches in length is in front of the radiator on the "G" VS the Newport) but I got upper and lower moulded hoses from NAPA for they worked out fine, Upper is NAPA # 7096 @ $13.49 Lower is NAPA #7648 @ $11.49 Let us all know if they worked so others can note the NAPA numbers. Hope this helps, John R. Cote Connecticut, breaking 50 degrees today.
