To Mike, John and all Others,
Mike, you got a great car. I can  personally attest to this as John was kind
enough to ask if I wanted to drive "Golden" back from the drag strip at the
Dayton meet last fall. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous but John didn't
have to ask twice. With Dan Reitz riding as my co-pilot and John in the back
seat saying "don't be bashful" as we were getting on the interstate, we
surpassed the legal speed limit by some margin (we aren't saying by how
much) in very little time. I've never driven a 300 letter car that was so
tight, rattle free and with no wind noise.

John, you did a fantastic restoration of a very rare car. To everyone else,
this is some of the fun you miss when you don't come to the meets.

See you in Pennsylvania in a few weeks.
