Nothing to it, just drive a big screwdriver (or your favorite pointy ended pry tool) thru it on one side of center, that will usually push one side in while forcing the other side outwards. Then just lever it out of the hole. Mike And, we had a (very) experienced mechanic working for us a while ago that did not feel that the old plug would cause any damage if left in the cooling jacket when he punched it through. Well, it did do damage when it migrated around to the water pump impeller. Point is, there are people out there that punch the old plugs into the water jacket and leave them there and have done so for many years. I do not think this is ever an acceptable practice and would advise to not do so. Warren Anderson Sedona,AZ ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ---------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
