Hi Dave, 1904808 is the cast. # in the top tank of a 300G without a/c . (1904811 would be correct for an a/c 300G , I believe) . I have two of these radiators, including the one in the red "G" convert, and the core is only 1 1/2" thick on both of them. That's not thick at all ! I also have a 1904809 which is identical to the 1904808 except that that one has a 2" thick core. I do not know what the application is on that, except that it's a non a/c radiator due to position of top inlet. Hope this helps.
