Howdy,

I saw Chad and his father-in-law Bill in Oakley, KS on Friday.  
Beautiful car, Bill did the restoration on this D conv.  Their rear 
brake problem has been solved temporarily by swapping the shoes on the 
left rear. (Front to back, back to front on the left rear).  I think the 
drum has been turned but the shoes were not arced or not properly so.  
They are also looking for return springs.  The competition is very stiff 
in my opinion and rookies  have little chance.  For example  at least  
two of the cars are sponsored by Ford Motor Company/Roush Racing.   All 
the cars are a beautiful  sight to see!
They had today off in Colorado Springs and start across the Rockies 
Sunday AM.  Anyone who has a chance to see them as they move west should 
seize this opportunity!
