Heavy tech questions of the day: What is the proper fuse for the clock in a 1955 C300? SFE/AGC #? The fuse holder on the back of the clock looks to hold a shorty 5/8" long fuse. Do I recall fractional amp clock fuses? Is the pop-in illuminating light socket a standard NAPA item? What is the proper bulb? All 6 volt. Car doesn't have a clock, doesn't arrive from Omaha until Thursday and I'm already playing Mr. Fixit. I luv it! I bought the clock on eBay and lubed it into life with a little clock oil Got lucky--the clock is date stamped APR 8 1955 which should fit the VIN 3N551198. How common or uncommon are clockless C300's ? I'd sure like to view a factory order sheet for the C300's, just to be sure of the options (and prices). Is it true these came out standard with no outside rear-view mirrors? Mine has them on both sides. Any show penalty for this possible infraction?
