To my knowledge the power booster on a '55 Chrysler is the same for the
C300.  The major problem is where the line exits the booster on the inboard
side.  It will rub or run into the Deltawing Air Filter.  A very easy fix
for this is simply loosen the clamp holding the two pieces of the booster
together and rotate the one with the hose 180 degrees putting the fitting on
the outboard side.  You end up with a longer hose, but no fit problems.

Years ago when I purchased my C300 I experienced this problem and couldn't
understand why the engineers hadn't done a better job.  One day while
reviewing a photo in the Photo Facts book by John Gunnell I noticed a photo
of a low mileage C300 that belongs to Robert McAtee with the outboard setup.
