I moved a Hurst on an 18' trailer and it worked fine. A 16 footer would have too much overhang. I'd rather bump the trailer than the car. Even on an inexpensive trailer - opt for the heavier axles- can't stress that enough - they will pay for themselves in the long run. Beaver tail trailers are nice for loading/unloading but I've dragged that end many times trying to get into driveways etc. Jeff Miklas ----- Original Message ----- From: <HighOctan300H@xxxxxxx> To: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2004 11:21 PM Subject: [Chrysler300] Re: Trailer Advisee? Hello group, Need advise... looking to buy a trailer to haul my 300 Hurst. Total length is 224.7 in. almost 19 FT. Wheelbase 124" a little over 10 FT. Do I need an 18 FT. trailer or can I get by with a 16 FT. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
