[Chrysler300] Convertiible Top Color?

My black (basket case) H convert I bought years ago had  the remains of 
what appears  (could have been replaced)  a black vinyl top.  My friend 
and I are in process of working on the car  and the subject of the 
convertible top color came up.   I mentioned I have a new vinyl white 
top stored away (for a former white sport 300 I once had) for some 20 
years and he felt the H convertible would look better with this,  
contrasting,  white color top verses a black top  - (a black-n-white" 
-police car!!!).

Those of you owning, or seeing 300's at shows/meets,  have  any 
recommendations to what would be good  looking top color on a black body?
Where the 300's sold with option of choice (factory order car??) for the 
top color and what were the colors?  Were the tops vinyl or the hertz 
type cloth (of earlier years)?

Any help appreciated as I have been some what of a hermit and have not 
seen any 300 converts (F, G, H's) at the local shows.
