[Chrysler300] 55-56 steering wheels

Someone mentioned that 55-56 Windsors came with the all-plastic steering
wheels but the only Chrysler to get a custom wheel-custom being the
wheel with chrome trim---was a C300. All other Chryslers had to be
ordered with the custom accessory group to get the fancy wheel,this
includes custom Imperials. My Windsor Nassau had the fancy wheel but I
have a 55 New Yorker sedan in my garage with all plastic . I have 2 56
New Yorkers in my garage, a sedan with fancy wheel and a  St. Regis with
plain,also I have a 56 St. Regis parts car with plain wheel.  On another
note I just picked up a 61 Plymouth Autopilot unit -the part under hood
with some linkage and 2 cables attached. This part was removed in 1965
and has been stored inside since-is very clean-should anyone need one
