[Chrysler300] Main Meet

My Congratulations to Doug Mayer & Russ Vaughn for putting on one of the Best Meets ever - (certainly in my memory - although my memory is getting shorter).

The venue was superb - the hotel, one of the cleanest I have been in, the food outstanding. Lots of things planned - couldn't get them all done. I thought Doug, being an educator, would have a written test for everyone to do  at the end.

The Owl's Head Transportation Museum  is a must for anyone that hasn't been there.

It was, and always is, great to visit with old friends and meet new ones. 

I traveled with Ken Langdon in Ken's new Dodge Minivan to Bob Merritt's - then we went in Bob's silver bullet ( Caddy) to Belfast,ME . On the way back - we left at 7.15 A.M. - Auburn N.Y. 4:30 P.M. - my house, near Toronto 8:30 PM.( with 25 minutes at the border) -  What - us speeding, officer?

 This meet was certainly one of the best in my 29 years as 300 Club member.

I hope everyone else had a safe trip back home.
