(should have posted this earlier) In a couple of hours I'm taking my F back to the shop that installed a new exhaust system last week because of a couple of different rattling noises that weren't present before. The new exhaust system is Eileen Brass's exhaust pipes, with custom bent pipes and Magnaflow mufflers. Some improvising was done for some of the hangars (don't know how or where at the moment). There are two different circumstances, and noises, that have appeared: 1) --sometimes (not always)-- on moderate to heavy acceleration, particularly starting out, there is a loud, sharp, distinct metal-to- metal rattling heard, from the area of the engine/engine compartment 2) -- when hitting a bump in the road (didn't notice it below 15-20 mph), even a **very** slight one (e.g. joint in the roadway), there is a sound that strongly resembles a tire rubbing on a wheel well.
