     bob is correct, i had forgotten and i stand corrected, the 65's for
about half of the build year used the trunnion joint as they used up the
stock of extra 4 speeds lying about.  in fact, come to think of it, i
heard of a large special priced order by several dealers out west here
getting together and ordering a bunch of identical 4 speed cars and the
68 roadrunners came thru with trunnion joints, word was the factory
found a whse. full of them and wanted to get rid of them. 
      i also have seen 65's with trunnions and also 65's with slip
joints.. chrysler also used borg warner 4 speeds for the first half of
the first year the 4 speed was available,, 63 i believe..
