"Slinky" noise cured

For those of the group who asked to be informed what was found to be causing the "slinky" noise as my "G" accelerated off the line, it was due to a worn and dry left rear wheel bearing, (cup and cone).

It apparently was within a gnats whisker of seizing and any extended trip at highway speeds would surely have caused a problem. (Maybe pure luck or "providence" that I didn't attempt the Kentucky meet after all). Looking for "spring" now.

Thanks for all the hints and tips from those who replied. Happy Moparin'
