I ran into a similar head scratcher when I purchased an idler arm from PST. The guy says that the one from a hardtop '64 300 is different from the one my convertible '64 300 needs. I haven't installed the part yet, but hope the one he sold me is the right one. ( I was going to say that I'm waiting for warmer weather, but I suspect that y'all up north don't want to her that!) Any thoughts on why the difference? Joe, did you ever figgure out what the difference between 63 & 64 were? Looking in the parts books for 63&4 all the part numbers change-such as tie rod ends, idler arm, drag link etc. Looking at the parts they appear to be the same, but all the books say a different part #- even the after market stuff! Can any one explain what the difference is? And /or why? Thanks, Joe Pierce.
