Hi Rusty and All, I use Valvoline type F in all the transmissions I REBUILD. That's the key word as the entire transmission is cleaned out along with the cooler and torque converter. If your transmission fluid is relatively clean, doesn't leak, and the trans is working OK, I would leave it alone. New transmission fluid will tend to clean out and dislodge any sludge and particles that are in the system. Since the filters in these things are not that efficient, (just a screen really), most of it will be circulating in the fluid and could cause a valve to stick. I did change the fluid in my G when I bought it, but it also only had 52,000 miles. I didn't have any trouble with it, and it's got over 100,000 now. Anyone else have any ideas? 300ly, Don ----- Original Message ----- From: Rusty and Thelma Roe <saxblowr@xxxx> To: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 9:47 AM Subject: [Chrysler300] 57 300C Stuff > What is the consensus of opinion on oil and tranny fluid for the 57 300C with torqueflite automatic??
