Swapped a '66 windsor 8 3/4 rear end and springs into a '65 300 (non-letter) 
many years ago and it was exactly the same. I assume the rear in the 'L' 
would be the same as a non-letter car.......at worst you may have to change 
the carrier if the ratio is different.
