RE: [Chrysler300] Steering wheel restoration

Ken,

I agree with Richard and others regarding Quality Restoration - my 300F had
a non-original steering wheel, and Dennis was able to use one of his own '60
New Yorker steering wheels as a "core" for casting me a proper 300F one. I'm
still recovering from the price too, but was unable to find anyone else with
the expertise Dennis had. The quality was excellent, and the clear plastic
should not yellow and crack like the originals, as he's using a different
formulation for the plastic. It sure makes a difference for the interior!

One more piece of advice - I went to my local Murray's car parts store and
loaned a steering wheel puller kit. They'll require a deposit, which they'll
give you back upon return. It's a free service and worked great (at least I
saved a couple of bucks on that!).

Best of luck,

Alex Krikhaar
