Re: [Chrysler300] supercharger on ram 300k

I dug out a Hot Rod magazine publication from 1962. The "Chrysler
Corporation Cars Performance Handbook" is mostly a lot of interesting
pictures and stories and not too many specifics. The Granatelli/Paxton 1960
'F' cars and the Norm Thatcher cars are in one section. Once again, no
specific details but they say 165 mph on the salt with the twin
superchargers for the 'F' .

There are also pictures of Petty Racing, 1960 +-. Monster Garage segment
this week featuring Petty race car shows how much racing shops and race car
technology have changed. It would appear, however, that the original reaper
shed that was a part of Petty complex in 1962 is still in use right there in
the middle.

Anyway, the book is yellow and has a 426 Ramcharger engine on the front and
would be a nice item to look for at swap meets etc. The Hugh MacInnes book
on turbochargers has more tech type stuff.
