Ed, I had a similar problem with my 300F - the gas tank had enough rust in it to build another car from, and it clogged up not only the fuel filter, but also the fuel pump and gas float inside the tank. I took the tank out (which was fairly easy, if dirty work), and took it to GasRenu, where they cleaned and coated both the inside and outside. I also replaced the float, pump and filter. Was very happy with the results. I believe they have a website, and otherwise you can ask a local garage who reps them in your area. If I remember right, the whole thing cost me about $250. Good luck! I have found loads of sludge in the sediment bowls....and it keeps on comin' from the gas tank. Anyone knows where I can get a good replacement tank and about how much ??? A repop will be fine.
