Hello: Here I go again trying to learn a little about my 300J and cars in general. I don't know if you folks feel the same, but I am getting the impression I am being "over protective" of this car. I say this because before I do any thing, I need to double check, and double check. I bet if it was a different vehicle, I would feel much more confident and go ahead and use any thing! These is what I need: 1.- Can't I just go to the local auto parts and get two of those air filters? Does any one know the part number or make, such as Fram, etc? What is so special about these air filters? 2.- What type of transmission oil should I use (3 speed auto)? How about brake fluid and motor oil? 3- Can I use just any anti freeze that is out there available? 4.- The little motor on my windshield washer is broken. I took it out and the part number reads Mopar 2258119; also the container that looks like and IV bag does not hold the water; I used some sealing stuff, but it did not work. Does any one have any of these available, or where I can find them?? I want to thank all of you ahead of time for being so nice and for all the help you have been providing to me. Next time there is a meet near by, I will try to go and meet some of you folks and exchange ideas. I am very happy to belong to this Club and good group of people. I will keep you posted of my progress. My car now starts with no problem. I only need to pump it and crank it for about 2-3 times, and that's all. I will have the tranny looked at soon. Thank you all, and where ever you are, I hope you have a great day. Dee "J" [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
