The way that I had read this was that this manual "may be a reproduction and to do your homework". Always an excellent suggestion when bidding on Ebay. I did not read any offense at all in this posting.

Fellow 300 members:

The 300G manual I have for sale on Ebay is NOT a reproduction. It came from 
the collection I bought of the man who called the 300s the Beautiful Brute 
-- Mr. Carroll.

I also bought every manual he had as well as the original artwork of 3 design 
proposals for the C300 which are not for sale.

So, please be careful when you say something of which you know nothing and 
haven't had the decency of checking...
