Actually, Christopher, you should have typed "MIURA", not 
"Muira", but in the end it matters not. Miura or Muira, it never won a race; 
in fact, no Lamborghini ever won a race. EVER. The Miura's chief sales 
competitor, on the other hand, the front-engined Ferrari Daytona, won its 
class more than once at Le Mans and Daytona. And the historic record of 
Ferraris V-12's of all kinds speaks for itself. 

Now, lest John Hertog have a cow over this non-300 posting, let 
me take the opportunity to ask if anyone knows what a proper voltage 
regulator cover should look like on a 1960 300F. Sure they're black; but 
should the cover be completely blank, or should it have large stampings on it 
(like BAT or GEN)? I've seen both kinds. Alas, John's photo record of Steve 
Albu's 300F is no help, since the regulator is one of the few non-original 
items on Steve's car. Anybody?
