I have found Ebay's search engine to be amongst the most poorly designed piece of lousy programming software in my some 45 years in the computer software business. If you place your car as a 1955 Chrysler you will get some hits for someone searching for 1955 Chryslers, however if you say C 300 Chrysler you will get other hits if any, if you say Chrysler c300 you will get others, if you say 1955 Chrysler C-300 still others and on and on and on. An intelligent system would allow you to input any of these and return the proper results, but oh no not Ebay. If you write them(if you a lucky to find out the secret to this Twilight Zone puzzle) they will not respond as to why they will not/cannot fix foolishness. I have suggested that they speak to Google on how to design a search engine. I have almost given up finding anything that I am seeking on their site as the frustration is not worth the effort. I am surprised that their sellers do not raise more of a stink about this as it is they that are hurt the most in not having their merchandise found.
