Russ, According to Chrysler's engine modification handbook, the"purple shaft" Street Hemi Grind camshaft has a 284° duration and is listed under part # P3690214. The 1968-1976, 383 and 400-4 Bbl. H.P. and 1967-1976, 440 H.P. engines have used camshaft # PN3512907, which has 276° duration. The three bolt camshaft is the 440-6 Bbl. part, # PN 3512033 (1970) or # PN3512903 (1971) it has the same timing #s as the high perf 4 Bbl camshafts(276°) but has a low-taper design and must be used with matching lifters. The 440-6 Bbl engine was the only B or RB engine to leave the factory with a three-bolt cam.
