To: group OK, here's one that has me stumped. I thought I'd seen it all when it came to 60/61/62 Chryslers... wrong. The patient: 1961 Chrysler. Freshly painted, body back together. The problem: When parked outside (on level ground) and then gets rained on, the INSIDE framework of the hood fills up with a LOT of water ! Other relevant info: This has happened twice, one month apart, each time car left outside in the rain, on level ground.. After each time, when I opened the hood, torrents of water came gushing out of the rear corners of the hood! Like, a gallon per side. Lots and lots of water. How does water enter the INSIDE of the hood when the hood is shut, and collect there ??? Anyone see this problem before ? It's a first for me and I am stumped !
