I am in need of technical advice on removing the column from the steering
gear on my 58 300. Once all attachments are loose, the column is suppose to turn
clockwise and separate according to the manual. Well once you have all loose
there isn't much to get a hold of with out scratching the column. Before I
pry it loose I want to know I won't damage the coupling. Anyone have recent
experience?

Marv
